College Narrative Essay Topics
1. Admissions Essay
Write a narrative essay for admissions to graduate school or an internship. Have the narrative focus on an early or definitive experience that made you want to pursue this particular career path. Make sure that you start with a striking image or anecdote. Leave out traditional introductions and declarative statements.
2. What They Don't Tell You
Read Philip Gerard's What They Don't Tell You About Hurricanes. Write your own narrative essay about a personal experience you've had (i.e. "What They Don't Tell You About Pregnancy, Car Accidents, Preschool, etc.") Use Gerard's format.
